Taminco acquires Air Products' European Methylamines & Derivatives business

Gent, Belgium, 22 April 2004.   Taminco informs that it has signed an agreement with Air Products to acquire its European Methylamines & Derivatives business for an undisclosed fee.   The agreement is subject to regulatory approvals

Amsterdam, 6 August 2003 - NIB Capital Private Equity and UCB, a Belgian listed pharmaceutical and specialty chemicals company, have agreed on the acquisition by NIB Capital Private Equity of the global Methylamines & Derivatives business of UCB for EUR 115 million.
