| Taminco confirms the acquisition of Air Products' European Methylamines & Derivatives Business |

On 29th November, the UK Competition Commission announced that it has formally cleared the acquisition of Air Products' European Methylamines and Derivatives business (EM&D) by Taminco.
Both Taminco and Air Products are now working to complete the sale, which is expected to be finalised by Wednesday 15 December. "The divestiture of the EM&D business is part of Air Products' ongoing portfolio management review and is an example of our work to refocus on our activities" explained Geoff Ingham, Air Products' global Business Manager, Amines. Pol Vanderhaeghen, Taminco's Chief Executive Officer, adds: "This acquisition confirms our long-term commitment to the methylamines business and diversifies our supply of derivatives to the marketplace."
