Methylamines & Derivatives are Taminco's core business. Methylamines are sold as anhydrous liquified compressed gases and as aqueous solutions into the market serving a wide portfolio of applications. In addition, internally within Taminco methylamines are the basis of our own varied and strong integration model, giving us a solid basis for the production of many derivatives. With production plants in Ghent (Belgium), Leuna (Germany) and Pace (Florida) Taminco is a dedicated and reliable global leader for both methylamines and derivatives. Our Derivatives portfolio includes solvents, water treatment and surfactant molecules, and gas & oil treatment products as well as a number of specialties used in other specific areas.

Higher amines are made by reacting higher carbon alcohols with ammonia and further processed through distillation columns.  Taminco manufacturers a wide variety of alkylamines, specialty alkylalkanolamines plus derivatives and alkylhydroxylamines.  Taminco has developed a strong background in production and process capability along with global logistics capability to become the largest supplier of Higher Amines in the world.  In addition to manufacturing the highest quality amines products available, all of our plants are dedicated to protecting the safety and health of our employees, neighbors, customers and the environment.

The Life Sciences business unit provides solutions for animal and plant health, contributing as such to protecting the scarce natural resources in this world. Taminco Life Sciences focuses on niche markets where development and innovation keep pace with the ever increasing demands of the agricultural sector, well in balance with the strictest environmental and food safety regulations.  We offer end-user products to serve the markets of feed additives, foliar fungicides, soil fumigants, seed treatment and growth regulators. Taminco has also developed a unique set of technologies for the formulation of crop protection products.
