Announcement to our customers:
Effective 01 April 2008, or as contracts allow, Taminco will increase North American prices for the following amines:
Higher Alkylamines

Isopropylamines (MIPA,DIPA)

15 cents per pound
|
|
Monoisopropylamine 70% Solution (MIPA-70) |

n-Propylamines (MNPA, DNPA, TNPA)

5 cents per pound
|
|
|
Ethylamines (MEA, DEA, TEA, and all solutions)
|
5 cents per pound
|
Methylamines
|
|
Monomethylamine
|
10 cents per pound
|
|
|
Dimethylamine
|
10 cents per pound
|
|
|
Trimethylamine
|
10 cents per pound
|
|
|
25% Methylamine solutions
|
2.5 cents per pound
|
|
|
40% Methylamine solutions
|
4 cents per pound
|

50% Methylamine solutions

These price changes are necessary to partially compensate for key raw material costs that continue to rise. Other raw materials remain at historically high levels. In addition, transportation and energy costs have increased.
