Dear Customer,

As you are well aware, we are working in a very dynamic business environment.  Like all chemical manufacturers, we at Taminco are experiencing increase after increase in energy, raw material and transportation costs, with no end in sight.  We are doing all that we can to control overall costs and mitigate the impact of these increases on our customers.  However, we are in a situation where we must take necessary steps to partially compensate for our higher costs.

Therefore, effective 1 July 2008, or as contracts allow, Taminco will increase amines prices by $0.10-$0.15 per pound, depending on the product.

Products impacted by this increase are as follows:

Ethylamines (Mono, Di, Tri) –    $0.10 per pound
Propylamines (Mono, Di, Tri) –  $0.10 per pound
Iso-Propylamines (Mono, Di) –  $0.10 per pound
Butylamines (Mono, Di, Tri) –    $0.15 per pound
