T-CARE, Care by Taminco 

Taminco formally launched its “Sustainability” project, which aims at moving “Sustainable Development” up the corporate agenda.

While this is obviously not a totally new topic for society at large or for Taminco, I want all of you to realize that to me, to our Board of Directors and to our executive committee Sustainable Development is considered a key success factor for the years to come.

Taminco’s core values - Passion, Care and Integrity - in fact reflect very well what it is all about: long-term profitable growth goes hand in hand with care for the environment and for our social responsibility.  The “People-Planet-Profit” concept is another common way of describing the same thing.

Sustainable development considerations should be fully integrated in our corporate decision making process and in our day-to-day lives.  Only by so doing will we create new opportunities and sustainable growth for our business, for ourselves and for future generations.

With our baseline “people & molecules” and our three core values Passion, Care and Integrity, we were already well on the way of Sustainable Development.

In the future, there will be no discussion that sustainability will become part of our daily lives ― and so it will be for Taminco.  Therefore we have decided to attribute to all projects and initiatives that integrate a sustainability target, the label “T-CARE, Care by Taminco”
Sustainable Development is not just a (temporary) hype, but yet another opportunity to demonstrate our innovation spirit and skills.

But of course our T-CARE project will not succeed without each one’s support to help us roll-out this theme globally and contribute to a better world.  Together we can make a difference!
