Our new feed additive Taminizer® C contains no less than 96% of choline chloride and a maximum of 0.5% water after spray drying (i.e. a drying technique commonly used in human food production).
C THE HIGH ACTIVITY
Highly concentrated, Taminizer® C contains almost double the amount of choline compared to other commonly used products. The high concentration of this nearly pure product allows the manufacturer to save a considerable fraction (more than 10%) of the volume of the premix. A feed mill can use cheaper filler instead and a premix manufacturer will have considerable savings on the packaging and shipping costs.
C THE HIGH SAFETY
White as well as pure, Taminizer® C is composed of synthetic and safe ingredients. Customers don’t have to worry anymore about toxic substances, pathogenic bacteria and hazardous raw materials. Unlike a lot of other feed ingredients Taminizer® C does not contain any carrier material. Aflatoxin contamination or the presence of possible pesticide residues is therefore excluded. It guarantees a safe feed ingredient to the feed manufacturer, free of undesirable substances and side effects. Food and feed safety starts with safe ingredients. Taminizer® C is Taminco’s contribution to introduce a new standard into the feed additives market.
C THE HIGH QUALITY
Taminizer® C is free-flowing and non-sticky. Clogged material won’t block the feed production installation anymore. Often feed plants are implanted near rivers to ensure an easy bulk supply of grains and other feed ingredients. Machinery in a premix or feed plant is often in direct contact with surrounding air, which is an ideal condition for a hygroscopic (‘water-loving’) product to attract water and become sticky. Taminizer® C has a unique micro-granular structure and the particle surface is designed in such a way to minimize the effects of water absorption. A free-flowing product results in a smoothly flowing feed production process.
Taminizer® C is packed in silver metalized bags with a moisture barrier in order to protect its excellent quality and to emphasize its premium character.
Taminizer® C guarantees optimal, homogeneous mixing with other components in the premix.
Taminizer® C is a white micro-granulate. The size of the granules (between 100 and 800 microns, typically 500 microns) guarantees optimal, homogeneous mixing with other components in the premix. The granulated form offers a better compact resistance (at the bottom of the silo) than powdered alternatives. The absence of dust significantly reduces production losses: less residue is left behind in the emptied bags, no powder is lost during transport in the feed production process. At the same time, worker safety and comfort strongly increase. Incorporating vitamins together with trace minerals into a premix involves a potential risk. Precious vitamins can degrade as the mixture takes up moisture. Practical industrial tests have demonstrated that Taminizer® C allows for a more extended stability of vitamins in commercial premixes.
