Driven by continuous improvement and fulfilling our customer’s demands, we have – together with our main drum supplier – developed a new drum packaging.

Main features of these new drums:

one color: in order to enhance Taminco's brand recognition, we've chosen one uniform reddish brown colour, instead of the differently colored drums per product which were used up to now.

one coating: the big advantage of this new coating is its great strength which makes it scratch-proof and resistant against damages during handling and transport. The drums are completely painted from top - to bottom, including the weld of the drums (protecting it against corrosion).

one big seal cap: with the Taminco logo …and differently colored small seal caps. Although the drums will look the same, there will still be invisible differences like internal coating and thickness of the drum depending on the product. These differences are necessary to guarantee product and environmental safety.

These new steel drums will be used for all Taminco chemicals drummed in Europe, starting from March 1st 2009. In a later stage the new packaging will be applied to the US drums as well.
