Taminco produces own active ingredients for plant protection products based on methylamines. Taminco is also a key supplier of amines to the large agrochemical producers. Monoisopropylamine, di-n-propylamine and triethylamine are used as building blocks in the synthesis of main agrochemicals. These amines are used in active ingredients to effectively control the growth of weeds that could be detrimental to certain crops. Primary application is for monisopropylamine used to produce Glyphosate and Atrazine which are the major agrochemical herbicides of choice. |
