In view of the long expected and finally confirmed decrease of methanol, Taminco is pleased to be able to avoid a further price increase for Methylamines and Derivatives.

Apart from this methanol price decrease, the other feedstock, energy and transport costs remain historically high. Nevertheless, in order to offer some relief to our customers in this early stage, Taminco announces a price decrease of 50 Euro/MT for Methylamines and 30 Euro/MT for Dimethylformamide for deliveries in Europe in Q2 2007.
