Taminco is pleased to announce that with effect from 1 October 2007, our company has acquired the global business of Mandops (UK) Limited in its entirety.

Taminco is one of the world's largest producers of amines and derivatives. An important part of Taminco is its Life Sciences Business Unit, manufacturing a range of Crop Protection products, most of which are derived from our own Amines. The Life Science business focuses on innovative solutions for Crop Protection, and the acquisition of Mandops broadens these product lines by expanding our growth regulators portfolio and by accessing novel formulations for adjuvant and foliar fertilizers.

Taminco puts important emphasis on regulatory support for its Crop Protection products, and the acquisition of Mandops means that the Mandops products will be defended and whenever possible, regulatory support will be extended, so that customers can benefit even more.

Within Taminco we will work very hard with our new colleagues from Mandops to ensure that this transition is as smooth as possible.
