Dear Customer,

Back in August Taminco announced its intention to acquire the Amines business of Air Products, including both the methylamines and higher amines product lines and their associated production facilities located in Pace (Florida, US), St Gabriel (Louisiana, US) and Camaçari (Brasil).

We are pleased to inform you that in the meantime all the relevant regulatory approvals have been obtained, and Taminco has now finalized the acquisition of this business from Air Products, effective from October 1, 2006.

This acquisition is considered a very important step reflecting Taminco’s globalization and integration strategy. Following several investments in Europe, this is another demonstration of Taminco’s commitment to the amines market and its continued support to its customers and other stakeholders. Also in future Taminco will continue focusing on its leading market position by further expanding its operations world wide.
