Taminco and Mitsubuishi Gas Chemical Company (MGC) are pleased to announce the official approval of the Te An Ling Tian (TALT) 50/50 joint venture between Taminco and MGC. As of April 1^st, TALT will operate under the new organization.

“Several teams are already in place and working together to ensure a proper and smooth transition for all business partners” said Tomofumi Ando, TALT President. “In the months to follow we will communicate regularly on progress and inform timely of any changes.” he continued.

"In addition to the existing activities, we foresee the start-up of the new AAA unit by mid 2012. The engineering contract has already been assigned." said Paul Van den Bulcke, Chairman of the TALT Board. "This new investment will enlarge TALT's derivative portfolio and strengthen further growth opportunities and our leadership positions in serving the market of water treatment and oil & gas in one of the world's fastest growing region. Additional investment projects are already under investigation." he added.
