The past couple of weeks the news reached us about the earthquake and tsunamis in Japan. We at Taminco, all feel hurt by this tragedy.

It is always difficult to find the right words in such dramatic circumstances but our thoughts are with the Japanese people and with all the victims. We are truly very impressed by the courage and the determination that is being displayed every day.

We sincerely hope all staff of our Japanese customers and business associates, their family members and friends are safe.

We want to stand by the Japanese people and have therefore decided to allocate the proceeds of our 2010 sustainability program, T-Care, to Japan. This amount of JPY 3 million was collected through various actions organized by our own Taminco employees over the past year and will be donated to local projects identified by our Japanese colleagues.
