Taminco International Chess Tournament 2010 won by IGM Sergei Fedorchuk

The first price of the 33rd Taminco Open International Chess Tournament in Ghent (Trophee Etienne Van Leeuwen) is this year won by International Grandmaster Sergei Fedorchuk (UKR). He shared the first place in the tournament with FIDE Master Stefan Docx (BEL) with 8 points out of 9 games but had a better resistance scoring.

The 5-day chess tournament had a large attendance of 294 players from more than 10 countries and several grandmasters and international chess masters. This tournament is organized by the Royal Ghent Chess Club Ruy Lopez (KGSRL) and sponsored by Taminco. To read more about the tournament, www.kgsrl.be.
