Taminco to build U.S. methylamines capacity expansion at their Pace, FL site

Taminco is pleased to announce that it has chosen its Pace, FL site as the location of its new U.S. methylamines capacity expansion. This major investment is expected to be on stream by the end of 2014.

"The expansion of our Pace, FL plant's methylamines capacity will support the future growth of our methylamines and derivatives customers for years to come", said CEO Laurent Lenoir. "The Pace plant provides us with an excellent operations team with decades of methylamines production experience. As the global leader in alkylamines, this is yet another step in strengthening our integrated U.S. production base of amines and derivatives to maintain a reliable supply to our customers."

Taminco, The Amine Company, is a leading producer of alkylamines and their derivatives worldwide. Of a total of 7 production sites, Taminco has two major facilities in the US: one in Pace, FL, which manufactures methylamines, alkylamines and tertiary amines and the other in St. Gabriel, LA, which produces alkylalkanolamines, alkylamines, DEHA, and DMAPA.
