Ghent, 5 November 2010 - news release Hot on the heels of being pronounced ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ in Belgium (Flanders), Taminco has swept up the award for Best Supplier at the distinguished Agrow Awards, outrunning three other shortlisted candidates. The Agrow Awards are held annually by Agrow, respected provider of news, analysis and data to the global crop protection industry. The winners from the various categories set the benchmark for professional standards and service across the industry. Taminco joined the winning ranks alongside such names as Monsanto, Syngenta and Dow. The Best Supplier award was presented to Taminco’s VP Agro Sciences Johan De Saegher at an awards ceremony held at Renaissance Chancery Court, London on Tuesday night. “This award is recognition of our quality and service as supplier to the agro industry. The large presence of alkylamines and derivatives as building blocks in crop protection products requires a globally active supplier that can deal with seasonal demand for high-quality products. Understanding the needs of the agrochemical markets is key to successful partnerships in today’s world,” commented Johan De Saegher. |
