Taminco produces intermediates used for the production of cationic reagent. Cationic reagent is used in the production of cationic starch, which is used to improve paper strength.

Rubber Industry

A variety of amines are used in the production of rubber chemicals. Such alkylamines as DNBA, DEA, DIBA and DAA are utilized as reacting reagents in the manufacturing process of rubber accelerators and activators. These amine derivatives provide heat and compression benefits to this market. Taminco also has its own range of vulcanisation accelerators with TMTD and ZDMC in various formulations.

Surfactants

We offer a wide range of molecules that can be used in the synthesis of surface-active molecules.

Water Treatment

We supply intermediates for the production such as floccolants and ion exchange resins. Another product can be used for heavy metal scavenging from waste streams.

Prevention of corrosion in boiler water systems is essential to the maintenance of the equipment. DEAE and DMA-2P are excellent corrosion inhibitors for this application providing corrosion protection in both the vapor and liquid phase of the system.
